Learn to repair and modify vehicle bodywork and become a key professional in workshops, dealerships and authorised service centres.
This intermediate vocational training programme qualifies you to repair and fit vehicle accessories and modify the vehicle at bodywork, chassis, cab and equipment level, adjusting components to the established procedures and timeframes and meeting quality, safety and environmental protection specifications. The programme has a total duration of 2,000 hours, spread over two academic years: 1,485 hours at the training centre and 515 hours in a company placement (1,000 hours if you choose the intensive Dual VET option), in on-site mode.

What will you learn in the Bodywork programme?
During the programme you will learn to:
Repair and replace movable, metal, synthetic and fixed bodywork components.
Prepare surfaces for subsequent painting or finishing.
Repair and fit structural components of the vehicle.
Enhance surfaces and carry out customisation and vehicle decoration operations.
Apply workshop-specific quality, occupational safety and environmental protection procedures in the body shop.
Use specific bodywork tools and equipment safely and efficiently.

You will be able to work in repair workshops, official dealerships, after-sales services, vehicle customisation companies and companies in the automotive sector in general.
Who it is for and entry requirements
The Intermediate Vocational Training in Bodywork is aimed at young people and adults who want to work in panel beating, accessories fitting and vehicle painting.
You can access the intermediate programme if you meet any of the general entry requirements:
Compulsory Secondary Education Certificate (ESO) or equivalent.
VET Technician qualification or Assistant VET Technician qualification.
Having completed an initial vocational training programme or a related Level 2 professional certificate.
Having passed the entry exam for intermediate vocational training programmes or other studies that grant access under current regulations.
Academic progression
On completing the programme and obtaining the qualification of VET Technician in Bodywork, you will be able to:
Access an Advanced Vocational Training programme, especially in the automotive field.
Access Bachillerato (Upper Secondary Education).
