This intermediate-level Vocational Training program qualifies you to perform maintenance operations, accessory installation, and modifications in the mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical areas of the automotive sector, following established procedures and timelines while meeting quality, safety, and environmental protection specifications. The program has a total duration of 2,000 hours, distributed over two academic years: 1,485 hours at the educational center and 515 hours of company placement (1,000 hours if you choose intensive Dual VT), in face-to-face mode.

What will you learn in the Automotive Vehicle Electromechanics program?
During the program you will learn to perform maintenance and repair of the main vehicle systems, as well as to install accessories and modify them according to customer needs and manufacturer specifications. Among other skills, you will learn to:
Perform basic machining operations and bench work.
Maintain and repair engines and auxiliary engine systems.
Diagnose and repair fluid circuits, suspension, and steering.
Service transmission systems and braking.
Maintain charging and starting systems.
Diagnose and repair auxiliary electrical circuits of the vehicle.
Verify and adjust safety and comfort systems (air conditioning, locks, power windows, etc.).
Apply quality procedures, occupational risk prevention, and environmental protection specific to the electromechanics workshop.

The Intermediate Degree in Automotive Vehicle Electromechanics is aimed at individuals who want to work in the mechanical and electrical maintenance of automobiles, motorcycles, and light vehicles, whether in workshops, dealerships, or official service centers.
You can access the intermediate-level program if you meet any of the general entry requirements for intermediate-level VT, such as:
Certificate of Completion of Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) or equivalent.
Technician or Assistant Technician qualification in VT.
Having passed the entrance exam for intermediate-level training programs.
Other access routes recognized by current regulations.
